La TV in rete secondo Google

Vint Cerf, ora vice presidente di Google e tra i fondatori della rete ha affermato:

"You're still going to need live television for certain things - like news, sporting events and emergencies - but increasingly it is going to be almost like the iPod, where you download content to look at later."

"Ancora la gente ha bisogno della televisione per vedere determinati programmi - quali notizie, eventi sportivi ed emergenze - ma sempre più velocemente tutto sta diventando simile all’iPod, in cui trasferite i vostri file per utilizzarli successivamente"

Naturalmente grandi emittenti televisive stanno investendo molto nelle nuove modalità di fruizione via internet. Alcune aziende a banda larga sostengono che il servizio causerà dei problemi di traffico web con dei costi elevatissimi, la rete riuscirà a crescere in tempo? Credo proprio di si!

Vint Cerf aggiuge:
"I want more internet, I want every one of the six billion people on the planet to be able to connect to the internet - I think they will add things to it that will really benefit us."

E della qualità dei contenuti televisivi? Chi si preoccupa? :(
